Yup, I hate having to press a button without any good reason to leave it.
I tried adding some sort of ammo / stamina mechanic but it killed the flow of the game and I was running out of time for the deadline... But also I hate auto fire so I just left it as is. But I agree it's terrible!

Great game. You're a great artist, I love your style. Good sense of humor too (souvenir). I think the "action" could be possible at any hide corner, not just one, and it could have an exit to escape. If the player couldn't escape, he'd be arrested or punished somehow (it need to have some challenge), or maybe a need to hide the day after at one area. Days could be longer, the map bigger, more girls, maybe some houses with girls alone (or with parents hidden...), like some people said, could have an art gallery with the girls of the game. The game's awesome and can be even better. Congrats.
